It's nice
because you're not the only one.
early in the morning and every night
& all through the day
it's reassurance
in your veins
because every step
isn't just the same
and in everything you know
there's something that's changed
and it's ours to share
& it's in the air.
You don't have to care.
It's when you're gone-
I know that something's there.
The time will come
but it won't be tonight-
It'll be always and forever,
but not until the time is right.
